नई दिल्ली। दिल्ली के मुख्यमंत्री अरविंद केजरीवाल ने कहा है कि दिल्ली में जितने भी निर्माण कार्य से जुड़े मज़दूर हैं, उन सभी को 5-5 हज़ार रुपए दिए जाएंगे। केजरीवाल ने कहा कि इस वक़्त मज़दूरों की रोज़ी-रोटी चली गई है। सभी दिहाड़ी मज़दूर थे निर्माण कार्य करने वाले सभी मज़दूरों को पाँच-पाँच हजार रुपए दिए जाएंगे। केजरीवाल ने कहा, ”मैं समझ सकता हूं कि आप लोगों को बहुत तकलीफ़ हो रही होगी।
हम आपकी तकलीफ़ पूरी तरह से ख़त्म नहीं कर सकते हैं, लेकिन हम पूरी कोशिश कर रहे हैं कि आपकी दिक़्क़तें कैसे कम हों। आप सभी लोगों की ज़िंदगी बचाना बहुत ज़रूरी है। इसलिए इतने कठोर क़दम उठाए जा रहे हैं। मुझे बहुत ख़ुशी है कि बहुत सारे लोग आज के वक़्त एक-दूसरे की मदद कर रहे हैं। यही हमारे भारत के लोगों की सबसे बड़ी ताक़त है।
इस कठिन समय में जब पूरा शहर और देश लॉकडाउन में है हमने तय किया है की हम दिल्ली में construction का काम करनेवाले हर मजदूर को ₹5,000 देंगे ताकि वो अपना गुजारा कर सके।

जो भी मज़दूर दिल्ली बिल्डिंग एंड अदर कंस्ट्रक्शन वर्कर्स बोर्ड के तहत रजिस्टर्ड हैं उन्हें पाँच हज़ार मुआवज़े की राशि मिलेगी। सरकार ने अन्य दिहाड़ी मज़दूरों के लिए कोई पैकेज नहीं दिया है।
इससे पहले अरविंद केजरीवाल ने राशन कार्डधारियों को इस महीने के अंत तक 50 फ़ीसदी अतिरिक्त राशन देने की घोषणा की थी. इसके अलावा दिल्ली सरकार ने विधवा, विकलांग और वृद्धावस्था पेंशन दोगुनी देने का आदेश दिया था। मतलब सात अप्रैल से इन लाभार्थियों को चार से पाँच हज़ार रुपए पेंशन के रूप में मिलेंगे।

Arvind Kejriwal has said that all the workers involved in construction work in Delhi will be given Rs. 5000 each. Kejriwal said that at this time the livelihood of the workers has gone. All were daily wage laborers, all the workers doing construction work would be given five thousand rupees. Kejriwal said, “I can understand that you guys must be suffering a lot.”
We cannot completely eliminate your suffering, but we are trying our best to reduce your problems. It is very important to save the lives of all of you. That is why so many hard steps are being taken. I am very happy that many people are helping each other today. This is the biggest strength of the people of our India.
The workers who are registered under the Delhi Building and Other Construction Workers Board will get a compensation of five thousand rupees. The government has not provided any package for other wage laborers.
Earlier, Arvind Kejriwal had announced an additional ration of 50 percent by the end of this month. Apart from this, the Delhi government had ordered doubling of widow, disabled and old age pension. That means from April 7, these beneficiaries will get four to five thousand rupees as pension.
