Corona CM Kejriwal announced relief package, ration free and pension double

New Delhi: In the fight against Corona virus, the Aam Aadmi Party of Delhi (AAP) government on Saturday took another big step, announcing the relief package and announced to increase the ration quota of 72 lakh people in Delhi.

Kejriwal said that during this time every person will get 7.5 kg ration free. Now a person gets 4 kg wheat, 1 kg rice and sugar separately. We are increasing its quota by 50% for this month. 7 and a half kg ration will be given to one person and given free. We will start giving ration from March 30. He said that there is no shortage of ration in Delhi. 18 lakh families will get the benefit of this scheme.

Along with this, the Chief Minister has also announced to double pension for widows, elderly and differently-abled. He said that 2.5 lakh widow pension holders of Delhi will get double pension.

He appealed to the people not to gather more than 5 people in one place. CM said that 50 percent buses will not ply in Delhi during Janata curfew on 22 March. Arrangements will be made for homeless people to eat in night shelters.

Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the people that you should not go out on the morning walk for a few days and stay in the houses. We are not thinking of a lockdown in Delhi at the moment. If the need arises in future, it will be decided further keeping in mind the good and safety of the people.
