लॉकडाउन एक तरह की आपातकालीन व्यवस्था को कहा जाता है। जिसके तहत सार्वजनिक यातायात के साथ-साथ निजी प्रतिष्ठानों को भी बंद कर दिया जाता है। मौजूदा वक़्त में हेल्थ इमरजेंसी के तहत देश के तमाम हिस्सों में लॉकडाउन लगाया गया है।
स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय के संयुक्त सचिव लव अग्रवाल ने सोमवार को प्रेस ब्रीफ़िंग में लॉकडाउन के संबंध में जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा, “लॉकडाउन जनता के बीच पहले से प्रचलित शब्द है। इस दौरान जो भी क़दम उठाए जा रहे हैं या आगे उठाए जाएंगे वो एपिडेमिक डिज़ीज़ एक्ट, डिज़ास्टर मैनेजमेंट एक्ट, आईपीसी और सीआरपीसी के तहत लिए जा रहे हैं।
लव अग्रवाल ने साथ ही यह भी कहा, “जब हम लॉकडाउन शब्द का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं तो यह साफ़ करना चाहते हैं कि इस दौरान बेहद ज़रूरी सेवाओं के अलावा अन्य चीजों को बंद किया जाएगा। इससे संक्रमण के फैलने की दर को कम किया जा सकेगा। इसके साथ ही लॉकडाउन के दौरान जो मामले पॉज़िटिव पाए जाएंगे उन्हें नियंत्रित तरीक़े से मैनेज किया जा सकेगा।
Lockdown is called a kind of emergency system. Under which public traffic as well as private establishments are closed. Currently, a lockdown has been imposed in all parts of the country under Health Emergency.
In a press briefing on Monday, Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Health Luv Agarwal gave information regarding the lockdown. He said, “Lockdown is already a prevalent word among the public. Whatever steps are being taken or taken during this period are being taken under the Epidemic Disease Act, Disaster Management Act, IPC and CRPC.
Love Aggarwal also said, “When we are using the term lockdown, we want to make it clear that things other than the most important services will be closed in the meantime. This will reduce the spread rate of infection. Also, the cases which are found to be positive during lockdown can be managed in a controlled manner.
